Graduate Opportunities
Our trainees can expect to work with an impressive range of clients. In 2008, we were ranked 8th by The Chambers FTSE 100 Survey for the number of FTSE 100 clients. As a trainee at Addleshaw Goddard we can also offer you outstanding training and all the benefits that you would expect from a leading law firm. The proof? In 2009 we won The Lawyer HR Award for "Best Graduate Recruitment Programme."
As a firm we have a strong commitment to our Corporate Social Responsibilities. One of our projects has been to offer all of or new trainees the opportunity to spend a week in Romania working on a community based house building project with a charity called Habitat for Humanity.
During a two-year training contract trainees complete four six-month seats and have the opportunity to choose a broad range of practice areas across each of our four Divisions.
Undergraduate Opportunities
Our placements are an ideal opportunity to gain an insight into our work, people and culture and were nominated in the "Best Vacation Scheme" category for three years running at the LawCareers.Net awards. We run Easter and Summer placement schemes which give you the chance to sit alongside practising lawyers in two different departments. The schemes also include court trips, case studies and workshops designed to bring to life some of the skills you will need as a trainee lawyer. There are plenty of social events too including the renowned go-karting evening where you will have the chance to meet current trainees and practicing lawyers.
